Deck the halls with boughs of holly!
We’re very much getting into the Christmas spirit here at Ubiquity, Christmas songs have been playing on repeat and we’ve even persuaded the office scrooge (Tom) to let us deck out the office!
Recently, we were invited by the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales to come and decorate a tree which was donated to them by a local company, Tom’s Tree’s.
Emily and Molly, with their arms filled with baubles, crackers and christmas decor went along to the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer and dress their larger than life tree!
We were warmly welcomed by Jayne Catherall, the Senior Communications and Engagement officer for Cardiff and Vale University Health board, who had arranged our visit.
She said: “We want to organise more events throughout the year, engaging with the local community and businesses, getting them involved with donations and small acts of kindness, which make a huge difference to our youngest and most vulnerable patients”.
She expressed the importance of the donations and how much they meant to the patients at the Hospital. She continued with: “Even though some of the children can’t be at home this Christmas, we really want to make Christmas special for our patients and their families.”
We feel very grateful to have been given the opportunity to make this small difference, and we are looking forward to continuing to help the Health Board where we can in 2018.
