In 2017, Ubiquity were asked to design and build a website for SKINS Teamwear.
The Teamwear website needed to behave as an extension of their retail website so it was important that it reflected a similar look and feel.
The website was built on WordPress with Woocommerce as an add-on on for the e-commerce experience. The website was built on the Bootstrap responsive framework making it fully responsive across all devices.
Built with the user experience in mind, the website has a number of password protected areas where members of schools, colleges or similar customers can log on and buy specific branded sports kits.
Whilst shopping, users have the option to change the products to display with their preferred currency, whether that’s Pounds and Euros. In addition to this, users also have the option to quickly view their shopping cart via a slide out, side shopping cart, before viewing the full shopping cart and proceeding to checkout.
To ensure customer needs are met at all times and any questions can be answered, the website has a large number of contact forms, all with clear call-to-actions.
Integrated with social media, the homepage contains a prominent Instagram feed which displays live activity from recently signed clubs and teams.
