April In The Agency
Spring has finally sprung!
As we welcome in May, it’s time to look back at the busy month of April which was a particularly exciting month (especially if you’re a Game of Thrones fan!).
Our Chairman Steals The Show
To say our Chairman and Nashville’s Soccer Club CEO, Ian Ayre, has been a very busy man in Nashville would be an understatement. This month, Ian attended the NFL draft and even appeared on WKRN News 2’s Good Morning Nashville show, talking all about the upcoming Gold Cup and Nashville Soccer Club.
April has been a seriously good month, full of agency wins. We are super excited to start working with some fantastic new clients that have been in the pipeline over the last couple of months and have enjoyed one too many celebration drinks toasting this success! We’re proud to widen our spectrum of clients across even more industries including the NHS, hospitality and education. Find out about our latest wins here…
Some New Faces In The Team
In April we were thrilled to welcome a new member to the Ubiquity Team. Andrew has been appointed as a new Account Manager based in our Liverpool office. Full of enthusiasm and energy we are delighted to welcome Andrew on board!
At the start of the month, we also welcomed two new interns through Ubiquity’s doors. It was both Jack and Georgia’s first taste of agency life, with backgrounds in computer forensics they worked alongside our Web Developer, Gemma, for the day to get a feel for working as a developer. We were delighted to show them the ropes and hope to see them again soon!
It Will Glow
Our Account Managers Emily, Lauren and Alice attended the ‘It Will Glow’ event at Depot. The evening bought together some of the hottest names within the creative industry who talked around their latest works and journey to success so far. The girls enjoyed a night of colourful insight, yummy street food and wine!
Bootcamp, UX style.
Sean, one of our brilliant Graphic Designers ventured up to London for a UX Bootcamp. From start to finish Sean picked up new skills that’s helped him to view designs from the audience’s perspective. We feel it’s so important to keep up with the latest industry developments and we are always on the lookout for ways to expand our skills and knowledge in order to give our clients the best service possible.
All Glammed Up!
We enjoyed a glamorous night at the Cardiff Life Awards and although we didn’t take home gold, we were delighted to be nominated as a finalist within the Creative Services category. It was a fun night with excellent entertainment, delicious food and one too many wines. It was great to see so many brilliant businesses under one roof celebrating the success of Cardiff!
Supporting Our Clients
We headed up to Birmingham to attend an IA Support information day to gain further practical insight into our client’s background and the target audience. We’ve worked with IA for three years and each year they host an information day for new and existing members of the charity. It was an incredible day with surgical talks, workshops for stoma patients, practical sessions on exercise and mindfulness and so much more. It was such a fantastic opportunity for us to meet IA members and support an incredible charity.
