We have had a relationship with the marketing team at Cardiff Metropolitan University for over 10 years and have delivered consistent recruitment and awareness campaign results throughout that period.
We were asked to explore and identify new advertising opportunities in the geographic target area, specifically looking for dynamic and ‘stand-out’ advertising.
In July and August 2018, we created a comprehensive, above the line campaign that would allow Cardiff Met to ‘Stand out from the Crowd’ and create ‘talkability’ around their recruitment campaign.
We integrated the latest knowledge around the engagement of the target age group and developed strategies using out of home, radio and cinema.
Digital Out of Home delivered on impressions by +8%, with the roadside panels also having an impressive over delivery of +110%.
Cinema advertising across Wales and the South West over delivered by a substantial 200,000 admissions over a five-week period and the radio campaign also impressively delivered 1.5 million impressions across 6 stations over two weeks.
The Alliance Ring in Cardiff caused a social stir across the City and further afield and was the ‘Hero’ piece for Cardiff Metropolitan University.
