After 30 years, Puffin Produce decided that they wanted to expand their business beyond being known simply for potatoes.
As the long term appointed media planning and buying agency for Puffin Produce, they approached us to assist with this process to ensure that they retained their loyal, long standing customers whilst introducing different sub brands into a new market.
Our brief for 2016 was to raise the profile of Puffin’s premium ‘Blas Y Tir’ brand of potatoes in Wales and increase the sales of their top line potatoes.
The campaign was planned utilising Kantar research and Tesco Club Card data to identify Puffin’s specific target market and demographic.
We ran a TV campaign on ITV and S4C, supported by radio.
We also designed and built the Blas Y Tir website to ensure that the user experience remained consistent.
Our work achieved a huge 20% uplift in sales and 10% increase in brand awareness.
