Ubiquity are delighted to have been involved with the marketing and promotion of the new season tickets for 2019/20 on behalf of Bristol Rovers Football Club – the historic Bristol Club, founded in 1883 and known locally as the Gas, used digital outdoor display in Cabot Circus Mall over the Bank Holiday weekend to drive the message of ‘Season Tickets now on Sale’.
The dominating Mall Vision screen and strategically bought digital 6 sheets played two different creatives. Each driving home the heritage and allegiance of the historic club, whilst promoting the Season Ticket availability. The campaign produced an over delivery of +9%, over the three days it played, demonstrating value for money and effective media planning.
Bristol Rovers has a strong and committed supporters Club, so the advertising also included street-level posters in dominating locations throughout the city.
Supporters can now purchase Season Tickets for next season’s Sky Bet League One campaign. Purchasing a Season Ticket remains the cheapest way of attending the home league games at The Mem next season, all junior season ticket holders will automatically be enrolled in the Young Pirates Junior Supporters Club.
