The Royal Welsh Show is the largest agricultural show in Europe and we have worked with them in helping this show grow and thrive since 2011.
The show’s principal function is highlighting the cream of Welsh livestock and the high-quality food and drink produced in Wales. It encompasses the wider spectrum of farming and rural life, and successfully bridges the gap between town and country, providing something of interest to everyone through its kaleidoscopic range of activities.
To implement the media planning, negotiation and buying for each Royal Welsh Show, every year. In doing so, we are tasked with working with a Committee of over 30 people and negotiating with them on a regular basis, ensuring all their needs and objectives are met as well as increasing awareness and the amount of people that attend the show year on year.
Each year, we develop a separate strategy for the Spring, Summer and Winter shows that fit with the client’s objectives. We assess what we know worked well previously and what didn’t so we can adapt each strategy accordingly and integrate the latest knowledge with advancements in media planning and strategy.
Our access to detailed research and our in-depth knowledge of The Royal Welsh’s target market has meant that we have achieved huge growth in awareness and attendance of the shows each year, with over 200,000 people attending in 2017.
We have also grown the digital presence year-on-year which has contributed to a higher awareness of the Royal Welsh Show.
